The 2024 Boao Forum For Asia Youth Summit (Hong Kong) (the “Summit”) is one of the most important annual activities under Boao Forum for Asia, and is co-organized by the Boao Forum for Asia and The Y.Elites Association (the “Association”). Since its inception in 2009, the Summit has held seven editions in Hong Kong, and has established a prestigious reputation both domestically and internationally. The Summit hosts around 2,000 attendees each time, fostering a lively atmosphere that is highly regarded by society and young people.

The Boao Forum for Asia is an international platform for dialogues centred around development, and youth development is one of its key interests. The Summit aims to promote dialogue, cooperation and mutual understanding among the youths of various Asian countries, broadening their international perspectives and cultivating them into the leaders of tomorrow.

The Y.Elites Association was founded in 2007, and with the full support of the nation and the Hong Kong SAR Government, the Association has been serving youth groups and actively participating in social affairs. It has established 17 research centers with distinct areas of studies, and its membership has also gradually expanded to include more than 1,300 members. By regularly hosting activities such as seminars and forums, the Association seeks to encourage more Hong Kong youths to think about the important development issues concerning both the city and the nation at large, enacting its founding purpose of "gathering youth elites, researching and propagating national affairs, surveying social activity, and building up a contemporary political think tank".
